Some African leaders enjoy absolute power and even some life-time presidents. Most if not all African leaders are selfish and don’t give a hoot about their people or countries. And we the African people are too passive. According to Foreign Policy PAUL BIYA of Cameroon is widely held as the Worst of the Worst !
A suave bandit who has reportedly amassed a personal fortune of more than $200 million and the mansions to go with it, Biya has co-opted the opposition into complete submission. Not that he’s worried about elections; he has rigged the term limit laws twice to make sure the party doesn’t end anytime soon.
Years in power: 28

“Men of Color and Education: A Discussion on the Pursuit of Excellence,” a special event on behalf of Teach For America’s Community Speaker Series. The two-hour discussion, moderated by David Banks, a prominent educator and founder of the Eagle Academy Foundation in New York, took on the air of a hip Town Hall. In front of a capacity crowd, made up of mostly African-American and Latinos who ranged in age from grade-school kids to people who looked old enough to be the grandparents of grade-school kids, the evening of dialogue about the issues facing today’s education system were discussed at an exhaustive clip.”

“Legend, a pianist, R&B balladeer and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, dubbed himself “the wonk” of the panel. He held firm to his belief in the standardized testing system currently in place, even in the midst of a smattering of boos from the audience. On the accountability issue, he came down hard on teachers, saying there needs to be better teachers in every classroom, and if they’re not good, “kick ‘em out”–a gutsy statement considering a large part of the audience was made up of teachers and educators.
As the night went on, Legend, seemingly aware he had made himself out to be the panel’s bad guy, said half-jokingly, “I guess I’m the only who says the unpopular things today, but I still make nice songs.” He also, at one heated point in the conversation, even cursed.”

I stumbled yesterday on this music video featuring one of the most talented duo Floetry and one of the most talented rapper Common.Awesome performance, the beginning kind of reminded me of Jigga’s “ Song Cry”.I still can’t believe the duet broke up, their collective energy is so infectious through the computer screen.
Apparently,Nathalie Stewart’s departure is due to extreme personal reasons.I guess they’re dating and the relationship went hell thus make it almost impossible for them to sing together. Meanwhile Marsha Ambrosius showed off her solo skills on a new EP, which includes a duet with soul crooner Glenn Lewis. It’s cool but unfortunately lacks Floetry’s unique flavor we were used to.
Honestly, she should have been stayed with that god damn girl no matter how huge the mess was.She just proved by releasing her album that going solo aint really for her. When you hear the garbage (Beyonce, Ashanti or any other pseudo soul/ Rnb singer)which is being served to us on a daily basis you could only be sad and hoping deep in your heart that one day they’ll be back together because aint nothing touching Floetry !

Apparently Satan was head of music in heaven. He uses influential people…to help influence the world. Once you make a certain amount of money, you might be invited to join.To get in you have to accept the beast, worship. Once you join they assist you with your career and make you huge only if you agree and obey to destroy Gods words and his children. Are people taking it too far?

A Facebook account entitled “Against the use of the word Allah by non-Muslims” is seen in Putrajaya January 5, 2010. More than 61,000 Malaysians protested online over a court ruling allowing a Catholic paper to use the word “Allah” to describe the Christian God, signalling growing Islamic anger in this mostly Muslim Southeast Asian country. A group page on social networking site Facebook was drawing 1,500 new supporters an hour on Monday as last week’s court ruling split political parties and even families.
