Msnbc.com Readies for Facebook

The medias business’ catastrophe is alone with nothing left but creative minds figuring out how they can reinvent themselves and dump some juicy news contents wherever, whenever we want and make money by the way.Apparently, Msnbc.com “gets it”, they lauched a new video player for Facebook or any blog- read reaching at least 200 millions users the way traditionnal medias can not- thus introduced a scheme to arrange thumbnail images of in-stream advertisement around the player.

He explains that ads which appear for a short time in the player get moved to a sort of thumbnail gallery around the player, allowing users to conveniently find ads without having to watch the video again.

Charlie, president and publisher of msnbc.com, the online venture of Microsoft and NBC Universal, shared these developments in this interview conducted on Tuesday afternoon in midtown Manhattan.He was the co-host of the Beet.TV Online Video Roundtable this week where he spoke about his company’s use of embeddable video
