Veronica Lario filed for divorce in May, angered by a reported liaison with an 18-year-old aspiring hooker.According to Italy’s Corriere della Sera, Mr Berlusconi has offered Ms Lario, with whom he has three children, 200,000 euros a month on the top of 60[m] to 70m euros that have already been paid out.
But that’s barely enough for Veronica, she wants more and honestly she’s right, no amount of money could fade away the public shame and disgrace she has encountered between sex tapes, the orgies, her husband private parts all over the internet. That was so hard and painful to take on that Ms Lario re-issued her autobiography and demanded a front page apology for his disparaging comments about women.
Mr Berlusconi’s vast fortune – which spans interest in media, publishing, real estate and investment sectors – is estimated by Italian financial journals to be some 9bn euros.Go on Girl !!!!

Being surrounded by newsroom cuts, lay offs, everyone is wondering about the irritatingly future of the media industry, one even suggested to allow sports betting on newspaper Web sites case in point, some British newspapers make millions on betting games like Bingo.Another one,Arthur Gelb wondered about the virtue of getting some Vegas showgirls in the newsroom, doing a little performance and charging admission.Desperate measures for desperates times as Maureen Dowd put it so eloquently.
Because its a matter of facts, the british media BSkyB jumped the shark as they always do in term of innovative solutions and proposed their users to watch live sports on Sky Sports and ESPN as well as Sky News over a wi-fi connection for £6 a month.Smart Coup ! Just imagine millions of football fans in the UK with millions of Ipods watching in amazement Chelsea vs Barcelona; that’s called how to be a billoinnaire !
Maybe the newspaper industry should take a lesson from this: charging for mobile content delivery. With millions of phone users around the world they might have a chance to turn profitable !

The 83-year-old Vidal recently told The Atlantic magazine he has no sympathy for Samantha Geimer, Polanski’s victim.Even though I’m huge fan of Gore, he may have take this a little bit too far.I dont even understand why he did feel necessary to express his opinion on the matter when Polanski himself pleaded guilty in 1977 after being indicted for raping the girl.
“Look, am I going to sit and weep every time a young hooker feels as though she’s being taken advantage of?”said Vidal, a screenwriter and novelist, who ran in the same circles as Polanski in the 1970s.
He said the media pushed a false image of Geimer.. He fled to Europe before he was sentenced. He was arrested in Switzerland in September and faces extradition.
